Located only a few short miles from El Retiro Peten, Tikal represent one of the most significant archeological sites in the world. This was the urban center of pre-Columbian Mayan civilisation.

Surrounded by dense jungle and exotic wildlife, it’s hard to believe that Tikal was the capitol.
